What is the Collaborators section of the Dashboard?

The Collaborators section of the Dashboard is where access to a nonprofit’s Dashboard is managed. The Collaborators section lists all of the people who have access to the nonprofit’s Dashboard as well as their level of access. [INSERT LINK] In the Collaborators section you can invite additional people to access the records of the nonprofit and you can establish their access level. In the Collaborators section you can also rescind people’s access to the nonprofit’s records.

How can I give someone access to a nonprofit’s Dashboard?

You can give someone access to a nonprofit’s Dashboard from the Collaborator’s section of that nonprofit’s Dashboard: 1. Click on Collaborators in the navigation menu to get to the Collaborators page. 2. Click on the “Invite Collaborator” button in the Collaborators page. 3. You will see a popup; enter the name and email address of the person who you are inviting as well as their permission level. [INSERT LINK] 4. Click “Invite as Collaborator” button. The person who you invited will receive an email inviting them to access the records of the nonprofit. Your ability to invite a Collaborator depends on your permission level. [INSERT LINK] Anyone that you invite to access the records of a nonprofit will need to sign up for their own account with OrgHub (user accounts are free).

How do I require two factor authentication to access a nonprofit’s Dashboard?

If you want to add an extra layer of security you can require that users have two factor authentication turned on in order to access a specific nonprofit’s records. Two-factor authentication (sometimes referred to as 2FA) can be turned on at the time that you add the nonprofit to the OrgHub platform. Two-factor authentication can also be added (or turned off) from the Collaborators section of the Dashboard: 1. Click on Collaborators in the navigation menu to get to the Collaborators page. 2. Toggle “yes” under the heading “Require collaborators to turn on 2FA to access records?”.

How can I remove someone’s access to the Dashboard?

You can remove someone’s access to a nonprofit’s Dashboard by going to the Collaborator’s section of that nonprofit’s Dashboard: 1. Click on Collaborators in the navigation menu to get to the Collaborators page. 2. Click on the “Modify Collaborators” button in the Collaborators page. 3. Next to the person whose access you would like to remove, click on the trash can icon. Your ability to remove a Collaborator depends on your permission level. [INSERT LINK]

You can modify someone’s access to a nonprofit’s Dashboard by going to the Collaborator’s section of that nonprofit’s Dashboard: 1. Click on Collaborators in the navigation menu to get to the Collaborators page. 2. Click on the “Modify Collaborators” button in the Collaborators page. 3. Next to the person whose access you would like to remove, click on the “Modify” text. 4. Change the permission level of that individual in the dropdown menu provided then click “Save”. What levels of access can I grant to a nonprofit’s records on the OrgHub platform?

What you can see in a nonprofit’s Dashboard, and what you can do in a nonprofit’s Dashboard, depends on what level of permission you have been assigned in relation to that nonprofit. There are three permission levels for granting access to a nonprofit’s Dashboard: 1. Entity Viewer 2. Entity Assistant 3. Entity Lead Entity Viewer View Rights: Minute Book only (e.g. pdf documents and data associated with them) Action Rights: None Entity Assistant View Rights: All Action Rights: Update Data Summary, run Compliance Events, and add/remove “Entity Viewers” Entity Lead View Rights: All Action Rights: Same as Entity Assistant, plus they can add/remove/modify “Entity Assistants” and “Entity Leads”. If you incorporate a nonprofit using the OrgHub app or if you add an existing nonprofit to the OrgHub app then you are automatically assigned the “Entity Lead” permission level for that nonprofit in the OrgHub syste

How do I know what level of permission I have in relation to a nonprofit?

If you do not see the nonprofit listed on your Homepage then you have no permissions in relation to that nonprofit (or that nonprofit has not yet been added to the OrgHub platform). If the nonprofit is listed on your Homepage but when you go to the nonprofit’s Dashboard all that you can see is the Minute Book then you have “Entity Viewer” permission for that nonprofit. If the nonprofit is listed on your Homepage and you see the Landing Page when you arrive at the Dashboard then you have “Entity Lead” or “Entity Assistant” permissions for that nonprofit. To find out which, click on “Collaborators” in the menu of the Dashboard; in the list of Collaborators you will be able to see what level of permission that you have in relation to that nonprofit.
